New Cottage: 4th row & fully fenced back yard!

Premium pricing for (very) basic accommodations Positive: Clean, quick walk to the beach, good communication Negative: The total bill for this 2-night stay came in at $1,100. It is represented as a “whole place to yourself.” The owner should be more clear that the upstairs is not part of the place. You can hear every move the upstairs tenants and their dogs make (television noise, dogs scurrying about, tenants coming and going, dogs barking at you if you happen to be outside when they come out to relieve themselves in the yard). The furnishings were barely adequate, mattresses extremely hard and uncomfortable. The shower is absurdly small. I could not have stayed here for more than the two nights it was booked for. Oh, and the door locks you out without warning, so if you forget the door code and your phone is inside, good luck.

Expensive for a one night stay but enjoyed having beach close by for an evening walk. Positive: Location was within an easy walk to the beach. Apt was clean and fitted with what you would need for a short stay. Lots of towels. A bicycle was also available for use. Separate wall air conditioning units in each room so could be independently adjusted. Negative: A couple of dog turds in fenced garden area had not been cleaned up when we arrived. Door screening to patio needs to be replaced. Would not have felt comfortable sitting in patio area as mosquitoes love me.

The property provided everything we needed. Very convenient to the beach.

Positive: Location was great. Quick walk to beach. Everything we needed was there. Washer, dryer, stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, comfortable beds. Negative: Maybe you could add a shelf or rack in the shower to place toiletries??
